? WORD ALIPAY MEANING IN CHINESE WITH PINYIN
Alipay is written as "支付宝 (zhī fù bǎo)" in simplified Chinese. The first two Chinese characters "支付 (zhī fù)" are combined into a common Chinese word meaning "to pay for something". And the last character "宝 (bǎo)" is not only used to refer to ancient currency in China but also indicates the treasure or precious things. In this case, the Chinese word of Alipay has properly reflected the tool's most important use that is to make payments on behalf of the real currency, or we say the cashless.
Nowadays, mobile pay gets incredibly popular in China, and cashless transactions are becoming a reality and normal in Chinese people’s life. Undoubtedly, Alipay and WeChat pay are the top two of the most popular mobile payment methods in China. Once linking the mobile phone to the Internet, you can use Alipay to complete payments either online or offline, pay at home or outside, transfer money to sellers or friends nearby or remotely, and exchange funds with others.
