Usually, its overall box office volume has a limit due to the very close interval to the Chinese National Day Holiday (except for years in which the Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with National Day Holiday based on the Chinese calendar).

With the release on September 17th, a two-day advance before the opening of Mid-Autumn Festival Holidays, the Chinese disaster film "Cloudy Mountain" has grossed RMB 272 million yuan (about USD 42 million) as of September 21st, over 43% contribution of the total three-day Mid-Autumn Festival Holidays (from Sep. 19th to 21st) and ranking the first place of the Season. As of September 29, almost the eve of 2021's Chinese National Day Holiday Season, its earning exceeds RMB 410 million yuan in China, maintaining the top-grossing Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday film of 2021.

By scheduled respectively since October 8th of the local timezone, the Chinese disaster film "Cloudy Moutain" premiers in theatres overseas including in UK, Ireland, Singapore, Japan, North America, and more regions.

从当地时间 10 月 8 日起，中国灾难片《峰爆》作为本年度中秋档票房冠军，将陆续登陆海外包括英国、爱尔兰、新加坡、日本、北美等多个国家及地区的电影院线。

Cloudy Mountain is a new typical Chinese disaster-rescue film but this time focusing on the common Chinese rail workers of national infrastructure constructions and their great effort on the disaster rescue and relief work. With representative figures leading by Chinese actors Zhu Yilong and Hua Zhizong, the film shows the hardships and sufferings that the Chinese rail workers have endured and how they devoted to saving lives during the natural disasters, accordingly giving a tribute to the numerous unsung Chinese constructors and rescue heroes in history or at the current.

《峰爆》是一部典型的中国式救援大片，重点聚焦在中国基建中最常见职业——铁道兵，通过中国演员朱一龙和黄志忠塑造的代表性人物向中国历史上或当今生活中无数的老铁道兵及默默无名的救援英雄们致敬。

Adapted from a real disaster, this film tells a story that when a small town suffered in a complicated geological disaster followed one another by earthquake, subsidence, and the falling of mudslides, 160000 citizens of the town turned into imminent danger. As the veteran infrastructure workers, the son Hong Yizhou (Zhu Yilong) and his father Hong Yunbing (Huang Zhizhong) stood up and tried their best to save people's lives with the help and support of the professional infrastructure and rescue teams.

《峰爆》基于中国基建中的真实故事进行改变，讲诉了在一场突如其来的复杂地质灾害中，16 万人及一座小县城危在旦夕。作为儿子的洪翼舟（朱一龙扮演）和身为父亲的洪赟兵（黄志忠饰演）的铁道兵父子在危机时刻挺身而出和团队们尽最大努力历尽艰辛、完成一场中国式救援奇迹的故事。
