Key 03. Read Chinese Digits 0 to 9 Without Numeration Units

一位数,直接读数字

To count Chinese digits 0 to 9, please read them out in Chinese directly, without any name or counting units of the digit place added at the end.

用中文读一位数 0 至 9 时,只需用中文读出数字即可,无需在末尾读出它们的中文数位名称或计数单位。

Take the digit "nine" as an example, just read out its Chinese pronunciation of the corresponding numeral character , and that is it, jiǔ.

Key 04. Read From Higher to Lower Places For Two-or-More-Digits

多位数,从高向低位读

To read out multi-digit numbers in Chinese, please read each digit of the number from the left (higher position) to the right (lower position), as the same as the sequence of reading numbers in English or other languages.

多位数在中文里的读法,与英语或其他语言一样,都是从高位往低位依次读数,即从最左边位置上的数值读至最右边末尾位置上的数值。

For example, to read the two-digit number "87" in Chinese, please read from left "8" to the right "7" following the Chinese numeral's reading and counting rules.

例如,用中文读两位数“87”,先读左边的数字“8”,再读右边的数字“7”,遵循中文读数、数数的规则。
